The primary goal of our association is to work to end poverty through programmes and projects conceived by communities. Our work in the field, executed with the participation of our community and international partners, leads us towards achieving this goal.
APS' pursues projects in a number of areas: agriculture, community water systems, education, women’s and human rights, basic literacy, capacity building, health and sanitation. As a grassroots development organization, our work is based in the field. This means that when our community partners come to us for assistance, we often respond to their needs with direct and appropriate support for their initiatives.
