Areas of work
Since its creation, APS has defined priorities in the following areas of socio-economic development: education, health, social mobilization, satisfaction of vital human needs and rights, agriculture, village water systems, reforestation, installation of grain mills, improved soap manufacturing units, micro finance, emergency aid etc.
APS strives to promote and facilitate improvements of the quality of life, full employment and conditions of progress and development in the economic and social structure of our country. Our vision is to create conditions of stability and well-being. Four key domains are pursued to this effect:
- Activities combining agriculture and animal husbandry, which respect the environment and are under the direcdtion of local actors in self-development
- Programme for women and children (Income Generating Activities, training, childcare centre)
- Village water systems to address water access problems< /li>
- Human rights, especially those relating to development
